Well, you've heard of terminator, machines learning and capable of taking over the world with infinite amounts of resources, and information.
This isn't exactally what's up with this machine, but it could be headed this way.
Reason that I bring this up is, I was watching Jeopardy it was going against the worlds best players, and it was kick ass what this machine could do.
The cooling units are as big as houses for this beast.

As of now the machine is disconnected from the internet and I have no idea when it will be connected, (it will prolly get hacked, or destroy the world...). Watson can learn by itself, and it has terabytes of storage.
As the machine thinks, on the little screen it rapidly fires colorful lines around a globe on the screen to indicate that it's running its algorithms and searching for correct/logical answers.
Seems like HAL is making a return... Whatta you guys think? Is this gonna pwn and take over the world?
poor astronauts
but ye i heard of this thing and i dont think its a good idea to let a machine get too smart, so something like that hal movie doesnt actually happen D:
Eventually it will start thinking that all our methods are wrong and then turn on us
OR
If it malfunctions, it could drop some nukes on Russia.
yup doesnt seem good it gets too smart it kills maybe so yeah seems bad
World war..
We all gonna die
Please watch the documentary "Transcendant Man." Briefly, its a multimillionaire inventor's thoughts on the future of computing and computers. He believes a.I. will be official around 2025 or so, and u will not be able to discern computer from human thought.
I heard an interview with him, it was amazing.
God I hope my info's right......
Ok here's a link, the guys name is ray kurzweil. Wiki that bitch, u will be astonished.

Lol, "Allison, can you tell us what internet is!?!?!"
Well, it's only a matter of time before technology consumes us, it's inevitable.
I'm not surprised. The creator just basically compiled machines altogether. But I am fascinated.
