    Default 'Quickscoping' in RS?

    Would it be possible to make a code that swaps out button commands of L and Triangle? (since you press triangle to zoom w/ sniper, pressing L would be more convenient and more simplistic) If that would be possible, then there would be another code that would help the purpose further itself. Would it also be possible to make that same code to where you could exit the scope upon the release of the L button?

    It seems like a bit much to ask for, but i just want to know if this is possible with all the coding that has been done over the coarse of about 4 years (i think). Thanks

    honestly i think the buttons function with the kernal so i dont know if you can remap them. i think this would have been done by now. but then again, where theres a will there could possibly be a way.

    then the alternate control scheme also might be part of the kernal, being that the buttons are remapped?

    Wouldn't all those just be jokers, aids?

    So just change the button/s that is required to activate the scope.. then turn it into a hold button/s joker (that would get you the "if you release the L trigger then exit scope" affect).

    Just a theory.

    no, you can make it L but u need the fnc for it, also its still going to scope on triangle.

    The kernel is completely involved in button presses, but not in the way you're thinking, AIDS. All the kernel does is pass the value of the button pressed to the program which then interprets it how it pleases.
    I will look around for the interpretation functions later, Sub.

    I don't joker but assuming that you could simply do that for jokering. but then again, like aids said, triangle will still be used, if you have "L" as your scope joker, it will still call for the jump function and also scope, that is if you can get it to scope.

    Didn't Val create some codes that change the buttons? As in - "o" to shoot or for a jokered flash?
