I recently found out how simple it is to make animations with photoshop, the only suckish part is trying to save it. The full animation never saves, and sometimes it wont preserve transparency when i have it selected. For those who've made animations before, mind sharing some of your settings so i can (as well as others) get this down?
You have to click "Save for Web & Devices" something like that, a screen would pop up with some setting adjustments. Then just adjust it to how you want it.
Save it as Web Devices
Click. Save for web and. Devices, and make sure you are saving it in a .gif format. There's a box uptop that let's you choose gif or png, and then make sure you check the animation setting in the bottom right corner before you save.
As for your alpha channel I'm not sure what's happening, but gif supports xparancy. There might also be a check box for that too.
Take a good look at your settings next time, that should resolve the issues you're having.

Hmm thanks for the heads up guys, i tried making a .gif w/ transparency and it wasn't coming out the way i planned. So i'll stick to non-transparent stuff when it comes to animation, but i appreciate the help!!
Pixels go pink whenever you use transparency.
