Windows XP WGA Removal
Okay if you are having problems authenticating windows xp, lemme help you out. There are all sorts of programs and shit that are supposed to do it. Well fuck I never found one that worked right, so here is what I did as this seems to have worked.
1.Lauch Windows Task Manager.
2. End wgatray.exe process in Task Manager.
3. Restart Windows XP in Safe Mode.
4. Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32.
5. Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32\dllcache.
6. Lauch RegEdit.
7. Browse to the following location:
8. Delete the folder ‘WgaLogon’ and all its contents
9. Reboot Windows XP
Side-note: If the notification bubble keeps pooping up also delete the Wpa files.

Hm... I always used the method of tricking it to think it was in safemode.. I guess this works too.
Nice guide dude!

I just copied and pasted it from this site with a bunch of methods, but none of them worked for me. The most probably reason as to why no application based crack working is most likely because I am running the Windows XP under virtual box. If that's not the case I truly don't know, but I can confirm that this method works and is simple to use. Steps 1 and 2 are not necessary.

What I figured is just that, if you delete it windows will know it's gone and screw you over. Same thing with iexplore, try to delete it and it will come back.

Windows knows it's gone but won't restore it.

It won't restore the wgatray but it will the iexplore. I have a video of it.

This method works for like removing the wgatray but you can't update windows at all... So i went with a pre-hacked windows installation now.
