Ok we all know the risks of downloading torrents. I was wondering if people would like to share what they do to try and cover their tracks. I hope AIDS will chime in I'm sure he's got shit figured out.
This is what I do :
I switched from utorrent to vuze. I use a proxy server call the tor project. Tor is a kick ass free proxy server that uses "layers" to mask your ip address, its like having several proxy servers. Tor works well with Vuze, allowing you to use it to download your torrent. In theory your ip address changes so when your downloading if someone is looking to see there peer's your true address is hidden. I also use peerblock. That is also suppose to block your ip address. You can get more detail on Tor, and peerblock by searching you tube. If someone out there has anything to add to this thread to help out please feel free to kick in. I am always looking for a better safer way to download.....

I usually say no to torrents, and go to ddl sites, or tehparadox.com for some yummy shit. If however, I do torrent I slow my DL speed to about 40 kb/s and I also use a 10MB/s hub that I bought so my isp doesn't know wtf is going on.
PM me an invite code DaddyTbone plz
I'm a torrent slut, and Vuze is the shit.
I ditched using Regular Downloads. Torrents are always downloading on my computer.
I don't have any torrent security. I just get all my stuff from 1 site. I made a Thread already about it. What I use for torrents
I don't like torrents because I have gotten screwed over for using them, such as isp letters, and lawsuits. However, I do check my trackers though, if it's something from thepiratebay, then I get far away from that shit. thepiratebay releases ip's of everyone that uses their trackers or uses their site to download torrents/data.
Wow, you got letters ? were you a big downloader ? also is the site you use tehparadox a usa site?
