    is there a way to hook a wii striaght up to a computer and record using program that record the computer screen

    Don't listen to him dude. No Offense. Its call a capture card which s used for exactly what you need. There not cheap but there worth it. Basically its an adapter where you plug the cable video and audio cables into it. And the capture card plugs into the computer. The ones I have seen use usb but tend to be more expensive.

    there is another way but its more expensive and would be for people who already have the equipment. certain special dvd players are able to record whatever is on your tv screen so as long as you have some extra dvd-r's laying around just pop one in and hit record
