No, download an ISO from here.
You can get your ISO directly from your disc, but not WBFS manager. WBFS manager allows you to format your HDD in the WBFS format, and it allows you to add games to your HDD.

To get an .iso off of the disc you could either -
1. Dump the game to usb with a usb backup loader, then convert from wbfs to .iso with "WiiBackUpManager" http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=188295
2. Use the homebrew app "CleanRip" http://wiibrew.org/wiki/CleanRip
You could also rip the game using the dvd drive on your pc, but there are very few drives that will read Wii game discs.

Yeah but if he thinks he can use WBFS manager, I honestly think he's in over his head.

I used DVD dumper once. Which took longer than downloading it through a torrent. If you want to try it out I'll put a link to download it. You can google it to figure out how to use it. It's been so long, I don't remember. I do know you need a computer with wifi. Click here to download.
GanjaMan mentioned the easiestway to rip the ISO off the disk. Use a uloader program on your wii to add the game to a flash drive or external hard drive. Then hook that up to yourcomputer and extract the ISO with a backup manager
