    Default Ponder this for a moment.

    Hey guys, i may have just thought of a way to make custom models for black ops wii. Thats right, CUSTOM MODELS. That means all new guns, lethals, tacticals, etc. However, i need information from you guys. This will work alot like Making stages and characters for super smash bros brawl. However, we will use my program to do a part of this.

    Befor i start on the program, however, i need to know what the file extension for the models in the wii iso is. Is it .xmdl? or .xmodel?

    As soon as we get this sorted out, i can start on the program. I will nopt tell anybody my ideas yet until i can actually get the models from the game, in their unmodified format. In other words, not converted to .dae or .obj, just a raw .xmdl file, or whatever the extension is.

    Ummm ponder this, Can you open the .pak files to access the model files
    You should already know if you can access them

    We can open them in a hex editor, can we not??? Thats all we need to do to see if there are xmodel files in the .pak's. Just search through some with a hex editor. Simple as.     Now that that is out of the way, we can start talking about a program to view and edit the models. Does an xmodel viewer.editor exist anywhere???

    I didnt ask to be flamed, did i? And if you knew even the slightest bit about what im implying, you'd know that my idea makes alot of sence.     theres already a program and i belive i already stated this lol i posted a link to the download in another thread its called call of duty xmodel customizer and it opens paks

    it doesnt work on wii lol but iff u could send me a beta of ur program id greatly apreciate i have expirience editing models and textures when n64 was big id add my face into super mario 64 on his hat and all over the castle

    Will do. JSUK, its written in Python 2.6, so you'll need that. Make sure you have an extracted .pak file on your desktop (from the wii iso) and when you run it it will extract to the desktop.

    Ill start uploading it now.
