    Default Anyone looked at this file?

    Hey guys. (sorry for the many topics im making latley, hope im not annoying)

    Anyways, there is this file in the black ops wii iso called "ui_zombie.ff" I was wondering if anyone else has bothered to take a look at it in ff viewer yet, besides me.

    The reason i ask is because it has a whole shitload of materials in it, as well as menu's, according to ff viewer.

    But that's not the strange part. Its called "ui_ZOMBIE.ff", yet under the materials section, it has files for EVERY map. Also, under the menu section of the ff file, it has a whole bunch of stuff that mentions either "xbox" or "xboxlive" Why the hell would this be?

    The names of the entries under the materials section that i am talkin about are as follows:
    menu_mp_array_map_select
    menu_mp_berlinwall_map_select
    menu_mp_cario_map_select
    menu_mp_cosmodrome_map_select
    menu_mp_cracked_map_select
    menu_mp_crisis_map_select

    menu_mp_havoc_map_select
    menu_mp_hotel_map_select
    menu_mp_jungle_map_select

    menu_mp_russianbase_map_select

    I noticed one more thing under the menu section:


    I am very confused by all of this.....anyone have any ideas on why these things are here? We were told by Treyarch themselves that the reasons we didnt get the cod 5 zombies maps was because the wii couldnt handle them. Yet there is that one "menu" for them in the wii's iso. And another thing, if the wii cannot handle the things the ps3 and 360 can handle, then why is there a file under the menu section called "ui/xboxlive_lobby.menu"?

    I think Treyarch has some explaining to do. :mad:

    Well, if I'm right, they made it for 360 but edited shit for the wii, that way they didn't have to remake it. In black ops and mwr ram dumps there's a shit load of things saying xboxlive or xboxlobbyjoined and shit, only thing is is that they can't be used :/ I think the wii could handle this shit, but it'd screw up the system and treyarch probably doesn't wanna lawsuit. I think you should try and do something with those files, I have no knowledge on modding but if its like coding they might not be useable.

    what ^ give_model; isnt a comand setModel is and the mmap data isnt in the game so its impossible to load it up the ony things this could do is prob add personal menu options or add the maps to the list but clicking on them wont do anything but i was thinking it may be possible to add zombies maps to multi if we add the right data

    There's one issue with adding the zombies maps to multi-player though. We would need black ops to connect to a different server that is hosting the modded files, and then we would have to have everyone who joined you7 be an iso modder. Every wi-fi compatible wii game has a file in the iso that tells it the URL of the serevr to connect to. We would ahve to find that file, and re-direct it to our "host" server.

    UPDATE!!!!!

    Hey, um you guys? You may want to rip "main.dol" from the wii iso and look at it in a hex editor.....there's a SHIT TON of info inside it.
