Is your Wii white or black and roughly when did you get it?
With the newer Wii consoles they upgraded the DVD protection and so you may not be able to play any game via a DVD.

If your Wii was shipped with system menu v3.2 you should be ok; if your not sure you can check your disk drive, you will need to type the first few letters of your Wii's Serial No.

Just post back your DVD Drive Chip.

If you purchased your wii prior to 2 years ago, youll be fine. If you got it a year ago, good chance its got the newer drive chip in it.

There is a 75% chance the chipset is GC2-D2C2 (v2) and the drive has the new metal clip.
And there is also a 25% chance the chipset is GC2-D2C (v1).

The thing is it can be really awkward - what DVDs do you have as not all will work?
