    Exclamation New wii update!!!

    A new wii update has been added to the disk channel (you must click it to play game) i have hombrew an the update removes hombrew but the update also boosts wii performance i was wondering if i could safely update my wii and how? and if not how do i remove the message (so my family doesnt accidently update my wii)......please please help!

    I know you can part update - so update Wii Shop Channel for instance.

    What are the difference between priiloader and bootmii (nooby question but ive never had to use either)

    Will i be missing out if i don not have the update?

    It's not an update, Nintendo can just detect that you have cios installed and if you update your Wii it will uninstall them. So, If you want to play games just use gecko disable the "SD cheats" option. I have the same problem.

    What happens if we don't have cios installed? Like we didn't iso? And, if you disable sd cheats will the adresses still be loaded from your SD?

    I've still the same firmware my Wii came with, they say the updates should help but it's not really going to improve performance or anything as that's mainly hardware based.
