Rumors are rumors. Treyarch doesn't care enough to take their time to ban every single cheater on Black Ops for Wii. There's just too many people who use codes and it would take to long and even if they did ban them it would only result in less sales for Mw3. My thoughts on this rumor are that some kid probably got demoted and sent a long rage-text to his allies and convinced some of them that it would actually happen causing them to spread it around. Short answer - I'm calling bs on this one.

Yapp I was thinkin along those lines i mean honestly treyarc has better shit to do with their time than ban thousands of hackers but i wasnt sure cause hella of my hacker friends were comin in and outta lobbies warning us and I was just a lil spooked.

If its early times, it's hard to presume. But none of my legit/hacking allies can get online. This is probably a Server overflow or maybe an unplugged server socket lol.

You guys do realize that everything that happened can be hacked, could a hacker fucked a universal adress? I do know that this can be possible, in a nonhost match if you poke an adress by the host that should only affect the host it can affect everyone, which leads me to wonder, did someone fuck something up? Lol.

I hope they are spying on us... if they aren't it shows lack of care for their companies name. What is surprising to me is that they havnt simply added a "vote kick/ban" like quake 3 has... I thought it was a nice touch, if over half the players vote to kick a player they get booted from the game...
That method only seems to work with individual servers though...
That actually would make sense for them (treyarch) to add that implimentation.
Another option would be to have a "hacking lounge" area of the multiplayer. I'm sure people who just want to play legit would not go in that area often. Less bitching from them to treyarch, and us not having to make rumor threads like this. Simple and efficient.
The way I see it is this:
In real war, if I have a machine gun and the enemy has a bat, I'm going to win simply from advantage. Does the enemy complain and say "this is not fair?" Sure, why wouldn't they?
Same applies for games. People who do not have the technical skills to implement hacks into a game are at a disadvantage. Guys like us can tell them how to do it, but let's face it, half the stuff talked about on this forum is impossible to duplicate for some people simply from their lack of tech logic.
Is it fun to be the only hacker in a lobby? Sure, but as in real warfare, eventually someone comes back bigger and better. Codes are the gamers "wmd's". Strong survive, weak fall.
Overall, I don't see it as wrong to hack, nor should treyarch. I think it actually makes the game more realistic as to real life warfare.

You have a point there, canbedumb. I agree with you up to a point. I don't think people should use codes to win or have a good kdr. They should be used to have fun and make the game more fun in private matches. Just my .02 cents.

I think that is a reasonable argument as well.
I still would like to press however, wouldn't a hacker specific lobby be a good idea?
