Default Funny code idea - Magnetism

When I grab a USBGecko i'll try and build this one...

i think it'd be pretty damn funny if all metal objects (cars, doors, anything metal) were magnetic. The floating points could be adjusted as to the strength of the magnetic field... no damage if pulled into an object, but if the object is hit hard enough by the player (momentum picks up the closer they are) it explodes, if applicable (like the car). Bullets/grenades can either be affected or not.

I don't want to waste my time building this if it's already been done. If anyone has already seen one like it or this code, then just let me know and it'll save me some time.

    The fuck? ^

This code has not been released, nor do I think its been made. I personally think this would be hard to do, you'd have to dislodge all the items and make them moveable, then the magnetism, how long they follow you, them blowing up, etc. I don't think you'll be able to make this yourself; if at all.

Maybe it could be based off co-ordinates on the map since the cars/metal objects don't move?

Yes, they do move, but not only that there could be dma. You can't find the coords of every single metal object and put them in a code, with the code telling them to unclip themselves and follow you as well as how long to follow etc. And make it playable, there is also the issue that for every metal object for every item on every map would be hard to find, and especially seeing as when it changes maps the address for a metal object from one map could turn into like a bullet for another map (theoretically speaking, I'm horrible with examples) or the adress might be void and cause game crash or an error.

But of course, no sarcasm intended, I've never worked with coordinates in a game, go ask strakn.

I would imagine you could boot into a virtual linux OS and recreate the usb gecko virtually... Thats most likely what I am going to do, but I use linux as my main OS.

Then you would be able to do all coding from your computer. It would potentially be faster and more efficient at grabbing data.
