Default Map Boundaries (Not bunker mod/carepackages) READ Please!

What function, or what would you use to change the set invisible boundaries of maps? More specifically the invisible height boundaries. So that for example if you were using no clip or something, you could not go higher than a certain height, I have an idea of how to change it but I don't know what it would be called. Anyone have knowledge of this potentially many door opening concept?

It depends on how the game is coded but sometimes it just loads a map and so it may be limited to the size the map was created to; some other games are coded so there is no end - with continuous random generated content.

Well atm I mean specifically black ops, and changing the maps heights so like for example if someone in no clip cant go much higher than the buildings rooftops and are still in reach of being shot at from people on the ground, I can't really give much more detail in that, but the issue is I don't know if this would be more easily, less flaw-lessly achieved in modifying a no-clip sript to have a max height (if this is possible, or editing the height of a map like say WMD (just a random ass map at the top of my head) And if it is the mapsheight what would I have the script address, I don't know of any specific dvars or such that affect the height of the natural maps height limit

You could do something based on coords but it would have to be map specific

if y coord > max allowed then
    y coord = max value

I believe the confinement area would need to be box shaped where min/max x,z coords would be the outer edges of the box and max y coord would be the height of the box.

I'm guessing in the map files they just surrounded it with an invisible material.
