You installed what is called a forwarder channel, you must have the original app on your sd card, for the 'channel' to work, all it does really is forward to the app without making you go to the homebrew channel menu.
What 'channel' is it?

The forwarder channel, is not for the same version as the original app then, hold on, ill find you 2 of the same.
EDIT: What is the path to your gecko app? eg: apps/gecko/boot.dol?

It's easier if you just make a wad folder and put your wads in there for the wad manager your using is easier to track down if you know what i'm saying.

Also, open the config text file, and put this:
# ElfForwarder configuration file # This file needs to be in the elf_dol_forwarder FOLDER in the root of your SD card! # Path to elf/dol file: /apps/gecko/boot.dolAnd if this does not work then make a folder called "elf_dol_forwarder" on the root of your sd and put the config file in there.
