MW3 FF and Modding
Well Ik some people have been poking around the common_level_temp_mp.ff of MW3, so i decided to do some looking around too
Anyway some of the shit in there is funny or just plain weird...
Its like the Devs never even finished the game before they released it. There are all kinds of strange comments and TODO's. I just found it somewhat odd.
"// we want the nuke vision to last the rest of this match, leaving here in case we change our minds :)" "// the nuke ended the game in MW2, for MW3 it will be an MOAB, not end the game but kill the other team and emp them for 60 seconds, it will also change the visionset for the level" "// TODO: get a new sound for this so we don't remind people of the old nuke"
Also It looks like all they did was modify the original MW2 .ff to be a little different...
In front of the the things such as functions that end the game after a nuke is used (thats how it was in MW2) they just insterted the "//" so the game would ignore it haha... I wonder if we could change around some of these functions to make it act as it did in MW2... Hmmm

Hmm.. Thanks for those comments. I have never found them but from what I see, it does look like it may be very similar to mw2. This saves me time for searching through the gsc's for commands and guns and stuff because I can take gun lists and stuff from mw2..

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking... So im sure a bunch of stuff from mw2 could be ported for this. Functions, menus, ect.

omg haha I found some similar things in another gsc but this one is a little more petty lol but yeah nice spot and good speculation, Modders will find this useful
