I got MW3 a day ago and when I start the game about 10 mins or under it says an error has occurred please eject disk then turn off the wii.
It has no scratches on it so whats wrong?
Is it just I have a older wii like 2-3 years old and it cant handle the game?

That is a sign that your disc drive is failing.

At this point, you could either:

    1. Remove HBC and any 3rd party software that you have installed and send it in to Nintendo.
    2. Softmod your Wii to play games off of a USB harddrive.

Personally, I'd go with the latter choice and buy a 50 GB. Loading from a hard drive is a has a lot more advantages over disc loading. You can switch games without taking out a disc and games generally run smoother and faster.

Softmodding basically just removes all the restrictions that Ninetendo has placed on the console. When you softmod your Wii, you can play backup games off a USB HDD, extract the save files from games that can't be extracted with a standard Wii, etc.

I recommend you check out this guide by Mauifrog. It will explain everything: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

So how much memory does the SD card have to have?
And once softmodded, how do I get MW3 on the SD card?
And how much $ would that SD card cost?

People don't normally use an SD card, but I guess you could pick of an 8GB SDHC for not too much to use to load games. My recommendation would be to use a USB harddrive to load game with, though.

If you want to use an SD card, you can buy one off amazon for around 10 bucks: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Class-...1840295&sr=8-2

To put MW3 on the SD/USB you could make an NTFS partition or use WBFS Manager. WBFS Manager seems to be the route most people take, though.

You can download that program here: http://wbfsmanager.codeplex.com/releases/view/26808

So first I soft mod my wii...
Then I download WBFS onto what, the SD card or my computer? What does WBFS do?
And do I download MW3 onto the SD card? How? And why does it need WBFS?
Is the game just not working because its too big to handle for my wii? Its about 2-3 years old and plays WaW.
    Sorry im just confused
