System File Check Won't Run Properly
I am running a 64bit windows 7 laptop.
I have been experiencing troubles with my laptop for the past two days. I decided do "sfc /scannow" on CMD to try see if it helped. When I did, it stopped at 8% and said "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.".
Any idea why this would happen?
I'm pretty sure that once I fix this problem, the other problems I've been having will stop. For example, Windows Explorer keeps on crashing on me and having to restart, and it takes 10min for my laptop to load up after I login. Also whenever a program asks has a "browse for file" or a "open file" option and I click it, the entire program crashes. I'm thinking my problem is related to Windows Explorer.
Can I download a new Windows Explorer.exe and replace it with my current one?

I think it would be a combination of things, but I guess you could try replacing the file. Or you could just reformat. Have you ever sent it in to get it fixed before?

Yes, the hard-drive burnt before and they gave me a new one. This problem only started happening recently.
What do you mean "reformat"?

reformat is wiping you computer clean. you lose all your data and its like when you first got a computer with nothing personal on it.

Reformat, just means to completely wipe your hard drive and re-install your operating system. With nothing the factory has put on it (pre loaded software/anti-virus/subscriptions to random bullshit etc.)
Well, if you wanna try the explorer.exe replacement, I can upload mine. I got 7 64Bit.
I do have a hunch that when you sent your laptop in, they placed a software bug that makes your machine glitch out.... (for job security)But that's just me.

As in they tampered with your machine so you'd go back to them.
