    well, im just getting into mod menus and trying to edit them all my self so im not just stealing and running someone elses stuff..i wana be able to make it and call it mine..can anyone send me some links to learn how to script or teach me what to do? would be much appreciated.

    modding is just basic programming. learn basic c++. look at other peoples mods and learn from what they have done

    The best way to learn is by looking at menus and looking at edits of them to observe how they are coded and put together. That's how I learned how to edit.

    @MrOwnership, you don't have to learn C++, all you need to learn for call of duty modding is GSC. which is similar to C++ but a lot easier.

    Whats C++?
    ive been looking at them in ff and messing around trying to figure out what it all is...i kinda understand it ( i took a year of html coding) so its somewhat simular...enough to know what im looking at...its all the stuff running together i dont understand..lol

    You don't need to know C++ to edit man, just observe the coding and try to get a basic knowledge of GSC.

    true but some general programming knowledge will help and C++ is very easy to learn.

    If you have and programming experience then making edits will be easy for you.

    anything in particular i should be looking at in the .gsc files? i figured out how to edit text on the screen..but that was extremly simple..im trying to make my self an "invisible" mod menu right now..i have a script im gonna test later on tonight as soon as i get a chance.

    If you have a backround in the C family it would be great. Since C > C++ > C# > .GSC.
    I would recommend the search bar lots of TUTS right on this site.
    PHP is also not that far off and simple to learn its like old ass perl.
