    Default USB Gecko Connection Problems

    So, I thought I'd hop on MW3 and try to make a few offline codes, but for some reason geckoDotnet doesn't connect unless I'm using Gecko OS (which I can't use since I don't own a retail copy of MW3).

    I have the debugger turned on and have tried connecting with WiiFlow, Neogamma, and CFG Loader. Any one have any solutions to this problem? It sounds like something that has to do with geckoDotnet maybe, since it works perfectly with Gecko OS. maybe I'll just have to use Wiird instead. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Guys you should really be using gecko.net instead of wiirdgui. there is a bug in the codehandler that affects your searches, it was only patched in more recent versions of gecko.net

    To enable debugging (usb gecko) with cfg loader you need to edit config.txt (global options).

    open it in notepad and add the following two lines somewhere

    wiird = 1
    confirm_ocarina = 1

    the second line is optional, but this will let you confirm whether or not to load cheats off your sd before the game loads, sometimes when hacking you dont want your cheats loaded off your sd.

    Yeah, I've heard from a lot of people that gecko.net is the way to go. Thanks for the info, strakn and everyone else who helped! I'll go try that out.

    Geckodotnet sometimes freezes and crashes with some games esp. Yugioh 5Ds and Xenoblade. When it freezed I used to reinstall

    Well, it's acting up again. I've burnt a copy of MW3 to try and make some codes for it, but gecko.net doesn't want to connect with any loader I use. I've tried USB Loader GX, Neogamma R9 Beta 53, CFG Loader, and WiiFlow. I had no luck with any of them.

    So, what loaders do you guys use when you are running a backup and want to use gecko.net? I've only been able to connect while using gecko OS, but none other loaders work for me. I tried what strakn said, but it didn't work on CFG Loader v70. I don't want to use wiird after hearing about the bugs it has.

    I'd really appreciate if someone would let me know a working setup that you use or know of.
