MobileTerminal is exactly what it sounds like; a Unix terminal for your iDevice. I use MobileTerminal in a lot of the things i do, because it's the easiest way to open root access on folders in the file system. I use MobileTerminal in several of my tutorials, including the Speed up Your iDevice thread, the Overclock your iDevice thread, the Increase Volume Limit thread, and the Delete Language Packs thread.
MobileTerminal is simple to use, has all the commands you'd expect from a terminal, and even comes integrated with gesture support, for various things.
You can use it to gain full control of files, when editing them in file explorers like iFile.
You can get the updated, iOS 5 version, by adding the repo http://repo.hackyouriphone.org/ and searching for MobileTerminal. Be sure to grab the 520-2 version.

Seems nice, but you should post more android apps.

We've been over this, Chrome. I am primarily iOS based, in my knowledge. This is the Apple section. If you want Android threads, request them in the Android section.

Don't start a iOS vs. Android war, here. They both have their pros and cons, and their both good OS's.

Not true. No more talk of this, this thread is about MobileTerminal. If you want to bash either OS's, do it in your own thread.

Is this better than iFile?

No, it's completely different than iFile, and most useful when used with iFile. Comparing the two, is like comparing YouTube to Omegle. Understand?
MobileTerminal is akin to the CMD of Windows. iFile is a file explorer, this is a terminal.
If you are referring to it's file exploring abilities alone, then no, it is a poor substitute for iFile. But that's not it's main uses, nor would i recommend using it for that alone.
