    Your computer is not compatible to play, your video card is one that is not accepted. Not that it's bad, just not right for minecraft.

    Can you not see the first line? Your videocard either doesn't support OpenGL, or the drivers aren't updated. Where you downloaded it doesn't matter.

    On Windows 7, go to Start > Right click My Computer > Properties > Device Manager.

    Find your graphics card under Display Adapters in the Device Manager, and download the drivers for it.

    If you get that message it's not the software for the video card that determines if you can play or not. The video card itself is what makes minecraft and certain other games unplayable.

    Not true. I have a laptop that threw me the same error. Updated the drivers, and the game plays fine.

    Your GFX card may be able to support OpenGL, or it may not, but it definitely can't without the drivers for it.
