    Default MathAlarmPlus

Improving arithmetic skills is not an easy job. Not everyone is good at Maths. Ever wondered that your iPhone can help you improve at simple Maths? Ryan Petrich, the famous iOS developer, has released a small tweak which will allow you to do just that.

Ryan has released a tweak known as ‘MathAlarm Plus’ as a part of the Daily Tweak Week challenge which integrates maths with the alarm clock feature of the iDevice. It alters the the behaviour of the alarm clock by directly hooking itself into the existing clock application.

So when you set an alarm, you won’t get options of ‘Snooze’ or ‘OK’ when it rings next morning. Instead the tweak provides a familiar UIAlertView; which will ask you to complete an arithmetical problem before you can disable it. It was tune you up for the day as the question range in complexity and requires a tiny ‘brainstorming’ mode.

The tweak is available on Cydia through Big Boss repository. The premium version is priced at $2.99 as it offers configurable options.
