    Default Nat type problem for COD

    I wanna change my Nat type for BLOPS & MW3 i went 2 my routers website give all ur info out but theres No NAT type option listed is there a code to change this or no because i tryed several times to change my NAT type still no option even after i put my password in =/ Im using a Belkin G Wireless router my NAT type=Strict trying to get it 2 moderate so i can join my friend. i also tryed using youtube+google still nothing plz help!

    Have you tried port forwarding? Have you also enabled uPNP? Have you tried running a wired connection?

    it depends on how far your router is from ur wii,it its close,its open,medium range,its moderate,far as hell,its strict
    but sometimes its moderate or strict,u can simply change it by turning off ur modem and router,keep doing it untill u get open nat type,it works for me

    I have your problem as well. & @Ice, I tried portforwarding w/ enabled uPNP. I also tried wired. Ended up strict.

    Edit : @Ninjax, you can buy a LAN adapter and plug an ethernet cable to your wii & router. That's how you wire.

    @iced yes i tryed those and uPNP is on and wired makes me lag 10x worse

    @Ninjax My modems next to my wii still strict i have no option listed on my routers website

    The NAT Type is based on your internet/modem & how the quality is I guess.

    idk when i click help it says its supposed 2 b there but it aint tryed section by section nothing all i could find was porting but ''Wii'' wasnt listed on it Mac address option had 2 wiis my bros then mine wii just gives me the address for da wii but no porys found
