Default PS Vita Early Review + Reviews

Well as you know we still have about 11 days before its offcialy released however it is in stores now for you to try. Gamestop is one that has been reported as having them and a local mall near my house has a giant vita display so if your interested Look for them to try it out yourselfs.

Now this one will be an early review as obviously it does not come out for 11 days But this is what i find so far

First thought when picking up the Vita. IT IS FUCKING LIGHTER THAN FUCK i used the appropriate amount of fucks. Seriously when you look at the device and than pick it up you mind takes a few minutes to get adjusted to a fact its lighter than it looks.

Now next on the things i checked out. the devices analog sticks and button layout. They move easy and feel like mini versions of normal analog sticks. so yes this is a good thing. The buttons they are placed exactly the same as your PSP assuming you have one are. However they are about half the size. but they feel like buttons all the same and to me makes no difference.

So next thing. Being a PSP player after i hit the home button i tried to move the menu using the PS controll scheme. I failed things would not move. But this is because of the touchscreen you now have to navigate with the touchscreen but heres the good thing about it. The touch screen actualy works and respons fairly quickly to your commands with minimum lag.

Now i only had time to try one game(i was on a busy schedual) so i decided to go with a all touchscreen gameplay game because well i own a psp i know how psp games are like. So i fired up little deviants and waited for it to begin. Its a game full of minigames that use the rear tract pad and the front touchscreen. The controlls with it are fluid literaly they is almost no lag while playing. You tap on the back and it taps while you do you tap on the front and it works the way you hoped.

Overall from feeling the vita Im giving it a good early review. The system works they way you would expect it to. And this is what your looking for in a device is it not?

    I tried it as well.

I tried the games Uncharted, Gravity Daze, and Wipeout. Damn the games looked great on the Vita, so much better looking in person.

The system felt really light as well, almost too light. The analogs feel great; they are smaller then their ps3 counterpart. The touch screen was responsive as well.

Overall my early impressions were great.

Does its light weight compromise its durability at all? I might go test it out Monday.

Compared to the 3DS the graphical capabilities and the controls fell great however for me its lacking a bit of SONY Classics. I could care less if it is light or not, though the touchscreen on the front and back has me worried

You will have to be carefull with this system eitherway. It has a touchscreen on the front and a trackpad on that back. You dont wanna drop that as it has a good chance of landing on a important surface.

But about durability i cant comment i dont think they would have like me smahing their Vita to see if i could :P

Haha. I was hoping that the sledge hammer would have shattered, but the vita looks pretty tough.

Still not certain about buying one. Might wait for the price to drop.
