    Default [HELP] Nat Type MW3

Search the search bar : did. Just clearing that up. But anyways, I wanted to know if the Nat Type is based off of the modem. & I checked portforward.com and there was a Wii Black Ops portforward, but no Wii MW3 portforward, so does that mean that they have no ports for MW3 yet? I have strict right now & I can't connect to my friend who has moderate, but it's weird 'cause I have another friend that has moderate and I could connect to him. But I guess my other friend who I couldn't connect to actually had open, since I saw open on his xbox, but not sure about wii.

Well it depends what type of router you have. The setting are different for each one. Just so you know ever since I changed my NAT type to open my internet has been weird. So just be careful at what your poking around at.

Very nice thank you. I'll give it a try. & Yeah I tried to fool around with the settings and it kind of raped my wired connection, so I had to reconnect.

Edit : The link you gave me doesn't have a tutorial for wii.

all you gotta do is give your wii a static ip. type into google static ip for wii. Always use wired connection. I have been doing this for awhile and never lag. Also you can port forward these ports and you will be set.

Wii Port 1 ➣ Start Port: 80 End Port: 80
Wii Port 2 ➣ Start Port: 443 End Port: 443
Wii Port 3 ➣ Start Port: 3074 End Port: 3074
Wii Port 4 ➣ Start Port: 29900 End Port: 29901
Wii Port 5 ➣ Start Port: 29920 End Port: 29920
Wii Port 6 ➣ Start Port: 28910 End Port: 28910
Wii Port 7 ➣ Start Port: 27014 End Port: 27050
Wii Port 8 ➣ Start Port: 27000 End Port: 27030

Sorry late replay. @Fallen, I have horrible Mbps. I have like 2 maximum. Is the NAT Type affected by the mbps?
@TaLK, Yeah I tried portforwarding but it didn't work. Sorry.

The Mbps effect your overall speed but mainly more wireless connections if you want to have a faster connection than simply have a wired connection. What TaLK is saying is true but remember there are other ways to accomplish the same goal. You just really need to know what to look for. But as you may ask I have never personally had this problem I suggest asking someone that has. TaLK is steering you in the right direction he seems to know more specifics. I'll help from what I know, but I imagine he can go into more detail so...

But is your Wii sitting right next to your router?
