    Default 06 ct discussion

According to the bible of code types, 06 writes x consective amount of bytes (z) at y. Does this mean it is only a text mask? What if I was trying to write over something more then just a mask, I can't think of an example atm, but would that mean I couldn't use 06?

Also, why is it only used for text?

06 is used for string writes. It is most commonly used for text because it looks and works better than using each address in the code.

    For example,

    04738320 XXXXXXXX
    04738324 XXXXXXXX
    04738328 XXXXXXXX
    0473832C XXXXXXXX

that code looks really unorganized and messy. Since all the addresses are right by eachother, you could do this instead:

    06738320 00000016
    XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
    XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

06 shortened the code by a line while still keeping the same functionality.

You could use 06 for other things besides text but it is rare to find multiple addresses in a string that you would want to use for another code.
