umm.. am a newbie here and just wanna ask for help since i realized this is the only site i can ask help for my psp >.<

i dont really know much about my psp although ive been having it for 2 years, i just buy games and play with it. but recently i wanted to put videos on it and i know only MP4 format videos are allowed on psp as what ive read but so i put the videos on my psp, it cant work.. it says 'unsupported data' with a question mark on it. im a wee bit puzzled by it, its because ive tried all conversions and it doesnt work. i just wanna put all episodes of my favorite anime called "kaichou wa maid-sama" on it :/ can anyone help me? pretty pleeease, its been botherin my head by the way if you wanna know, my psp has been modified and its custom firmware is 6.37

You should make a folder inside the psp called 'VIDEO" and put all your .mp4 files in there

Other than that, i don't see what you're doing wrong:p Good luck

Step one: download red kawa or badaboom, preferably badaboom, especially if you have an nvidia card in your computer.

Step two: click the psp preset, this sets the resolution of the video to match the psp's, which is probably why it says unsupported data

step three: place in video folder on memory card

step four: scroll to video tab on psp and select video from memory card

    step five: enjoy movie

same mag, and as for the question mark problem, it means the video format doesnt work for the psp, you need to convert it to something else

It is mp4 but i believe it has got do with the screen size. The psp is very picky about the screen size/resolution

    Anyway, try this http://www.pspvideo9.com/

Just as stated above, make sure you properly convert the video, just not renaming the end of the file. If you're still having issues, please let us know.

This uses only your cpu, it has no gfx acceleration.

Somebody mentioned pspvideo9, that is red kawa, best cpu based converter for psp.

Badaboom uses Gfx card acceleration, and intel core acceleration, to convert videos extremely fast, and has presets for any device you can imagine. Badaboom2 is even faster. I convert 1080p video on highest quality at 30+ fps, for psp I convert at 200+fps. There are plenty of torrents available for those without cc's.
