Any 3D Artists Want to Work for $$$
I have a bunch of ww2 models I want made, they have to low poly, like 5000 for the most complicated things.
They're for an RTS I want to make.
There's like about $6000 to be made. I really want to get art into this game. They don't have to be textured.
I'll put your name in game credits too. Its an RTS sorta thing, hard to explain, but easy to play.
The engine has been done for a year, but I shelved the whole thing, was wondering if any of you guys want to work on it.

It's what they used to make the models for the movie: Shrek

I am not an artist. I have tinkered in art before, I hate it.
I was merely offering somebody money and their name in a game. I often do this to help college and highschool kids who want to become a professional artist or programmer.I have posted this in various places and had some responses, so I figured I would post it here too, since I've been hanging around for a while.
I was offering an opportunity, not asking how to make art, think of it as a job offer. The money comes through paypal, directly to you, in return you upload a model.
I don't think you people even read posts, let alone threads. First time somebody flames because he doesn't know how to read a post in context, second person thinks I don't understand pointers, because, by his own admission, he didn't rea the post, now you think I need to know what program is used to make game art.
On a side note, Max is the tool you want to learn if you want to work in the games industry, not Maya. Max is used in 9 out of 10 studios that make game art.
