    Default can other players see your weapon mods?

    hey guys i was just wondering if other players that are online can see your weapon mods? Like Supernovas death ray pistol code which is just a blaster pistol which shoots out a white beam?

    Not usually, I was playing with someone and talking to them on the xat at the same time, so I asked them if they could see my shotgun shooting like a mother fucker and they said it looked normal to them.

    They wouldn't be able to see it because it is a client side mod, there is nothing that makes it upload itself to their psp, and they relieve player status packets separately from damage and particle packets.

    This means their psp only shows your player status, which is probably some enumeration such as PLAYER_STATE::FIRING, so their psp animates it itself, instead of your psp sending a muzzle flash and their psp trying to synchronize draw functions.

    That's the technology side of it.
