    Default Modems/Port Forwarding/DMZ Hosting Problems

Hello guys, I've seen many tutorials on how to set your PS3 Nat type to open. I have found the reason why my NAT type is "3" or "Strict." I followed it back to my modem. I port forward and DMZ host my PS3 on a static IP address but yet it is still on NAT "3" even when I have my PS3 plugged into the modem. So I was wondering would setting my Modem to Bridged mode instead of routing mode would help me open my Nat. With my modem I can open ports but i can't define if they are TCP or UDP or Both. Thanks

Try ports, but each port you open do a tcp and udp. I don't know much about this subject but it worked for me.

yea I did that but you have to open ports on both your router and your modem but my modem can't define either if the port is TCP or UDP
