[TUT]Modding for Dummies
In this thread I will begin a basic Modding guide. I will post various coding lessons to help you better understand the coding language known as GSC. I will not be posting everything at once as that would take me forever to type. I will gradually post more lessons until I feel I have posted everything necessary to modding. At the bottom of the page, you will find some reference links to some things that will help you greatly with modding.
Lesson 1 - Understanding basic syntax
Lesson 2 - Understanding the Variable
Lesson 3 - Understanding functions
Great list of functions with description and example: http://wiki.modsrepository.com/index...ting_Reference

Uhh, the hours and hours of time I put into learning how to learn because I wanted to do it so badly.
You and me never had a tutorial to learn how to mod. We had to learn from others. It was a real challenge.
I don't think people should be able to sit back, and learn what you and me know with 0 effort.
Don't you ever feel proud looking at how good you turned out to be over the years? Well if you put everything you know in a thread, then..
Idk, I can't really put it into a good description. When people want to learn or need help, they PM
me, and I help them learn. If they say "How can I make a loop" then I'll tell them.
But if people can put 0 effort into it, and just click this thread, then they don't even need to work.
You can do what you want, but I would just recommend thinking twice.
