Default Can you have a ISO mod and play in other people's rooms (Public). Black ops

I could have sworn that before, you could mod your ISO, and then join a public match in Black ops and nothing out of the ordinary would occur. Then of course if you got host, you would be in your modded room (public).

Now, that doesn't seem to happen, whenever i have a mod, and join a public match, it goes to a black screen for a bit, then returns to the lobby saying "Lost connection to host".

Is it just the mods I've tested? Or are all mods (one's effecting multiplayer) doing the same thing when you try joining public matches.

Also, can anyone PM me a force host code? Thanks

Even if you're the host in the public match?

Muiltplayer has a server side checksum(Protection basically) which checks your common level temp file if it's been tampered with. The original common has a size which the checksum makes sure its the same as the original other wise it'll disconnect you from any public match. Same works when someone joins a modder in public, people who join will be easily disconnected from you. Even if you host your own public match others can't join you unless they have the excat file you have. Currently their is no bypass and may never happen.

Rastamods has one to bypass Black Ops MP Public Match Checksum, I've seen it first hand myself.
