Lol and that's me downsizing my original plans. I don't have all the money yet since I spent a around $3500 on vacation  but it was well worth it. My gf will be helping me with the funds since I spoiled her the past week and she feels bad

The only benefit of SLI is running shit on ridiculous high resolutions. Most games today don't have good support for SLI, and it's glitchy. Same thing with crossfire.

And for multiple processors, it's a good concept, but nothing for gaming. It's more for servers that have multi-threaded applications. Most games and applications only utilize 2 to 4 cores.

Other than that you'll be rockin good.

From my understanding I can unconnect the video cards and just utilize one if a game I wanted to play was affected that badly. Yea I understand about the multiple processor thing, Jew said the same to me as well. If ivy bridge is switched to LGA 2011 socket then I might do it anyway just for the hell of it, but until then I should be more than fine with my setup.

Haven't updated this in a while. Lol I messed up the paint job, scrapped the case, bought a new one, and bought everything except the GPU, mobo, CPU, and ram sticks. If the gtx 780's aren't announced by the time my tax return comes in I'm completing this with the original plans. I'm going to be sending in my case to frozencpu for a custom paint job and custom side panel w/ custom paint and laser etching on the acrylic window

Even though I messed up, this was my original idea

so you get what I'm going for
