Question How to get TV Output on Computer

I was wondering what kind of cables or whatever I need to get whatever my TV shows on my computer. I wanted to try using CamStudio or something and record Wii gameplay off of my computer as I am playing it on my TV.

I have a wide assortment of various cables, so if anyone knows how to do this, please post, and the things I will need to do it.

Don't post anything about Wii recording products like Pinacles, or DVD player, or whatever, I wanted to try recording like this and see how it comes out.

    Thanks~

    Default

You have to get the input into the computer, not the monitor if you want to record it. The only way to do that is with a capture device of some sort, or if you have a specific computer that allows rgb input.
