Viking 360 Macro Controller (The Viking) Review 9/10 (modded)
This controller is awesome! I have been using it for close to a year now so I know just about everything about it.
First off let me tell you all of the features:
-Macro controls (explained later)
-Ability to create your own mods
-Custom designs and features
Now that you know what the controller includes, allow me to tell you what I don't like about the controller.
-The battery tends to die quite quickly but, they include a play and charge cable as well as a rechargeable battery.
-The six extra tac switches tend to get confusing at first although, you do get used to them after a while.
-There are so many features, I tend to forget about them.
Now the plus sides to the controller.
-The updates are free
-To update or anything like that, you just plug it into your pc and open up the Viking mod creator (really easy)
-Six extra buttons to switch between, and turn off/on mods
-Color changing LED's to tell you what page you are on
-Overall really easy to setup and use
-Macro - It just allows you to save anything you do on the controller. You just press one button do whatever (like x, b, a, a, y, rt) press the button again to stop the recording. Assign a second button to play the recording you just made. Push that newly assigned button and it does x, b, a, a, y, rt.
-Six extra programable buttons they call tac switches. You can assign these buttons to do anything you want.
-The CD you get allows you to create mods and arrange the mods you downloaded from their website. They made this really easy to use and virtually hassle free.
-Color changing LED's that can be used to notify you what page you're on or to just amaze your friends by scrolling through all of the 16 available colors.
-All the mods you download are 100% free as well as updates. When you buys from other companies they tend to make you pay to have your controller updated with the latest software as well as for the newest games (CoD, BF, GoW, etc.) Considering they do that just tells you they do care about their customers.
-They have wonderful customer service, the only problem I found with it is they don't run on phones. They run on email so they aren't the fastest to respond but, they told me when i asked that they will replace any damaged part of the controller and you just have pay for shipping.
My overall impression with Viking 360.
They do a wonderful job with all of their products and really seem to care about the customers they're selling to. I'm happy to say I give them a 9/10 for their craftsmanship and the durability of the controller. It is definitely worth the $300 I spent on it but, that was a long time ago. It now sells for $400 due to lack of motherboards used for the controller and they won't be getting anymore in. That's why you have to snatch up one of these while you can, wherever you can find one, I highly suggest you get your hands on it.
Thanks to my friend Blance44 for helping me with my review.

See, the one and only thing I like about xbox are their controllers. If we could just take you're guys' controllers and use them for ps3 then there would be no xbocks.

You should take a picture of your own controller.
