[How-To]Disable All Advertisements
This is a very easy and user-friendly way to disable advertisements from showing up in your browser ever again. There is one required installation, and one add-on to that installation. Make sure you have Administrator privileges on your computer to install the required program.
Step 1) Download and install Mozilla Firefox. It is quite literally the best web browser ever. It is amazingly fast, and it's amazingly secure. Want it even faster!? I will cover that much at the end of the tutorial. To download Firefox, visit the following link to download the installation package.
Step 2) After you have installed Firefox, open it and navigate to the following link.
Ad Block Plus
Click the "+ Add to Firefox" button, and it will install swiftly. Firefox will require a reboot. In the following Dialog Box, choose the US Ad package blocker. (It's what I use, and it's quite adequate. If you choose too many packages, you can make Firefox run MUCH slower, and you can even accidentally begin blocking things you don't want blocked through interference of packages.)
You're seriously done. Wasn't that easy!? Now, here is a screenshot of http://www.psp-hacks.com/ from my browser. I use the "Personas" add-on for Firefox, so yours won't look exactly like mine.
Step 3(Optional): Go to Google. Type in "Speed Up Firefox Helpful Vanity." Follow the directions in the result site and Firefox will become blindingly fast for Broadband users.
Hope you were able to follow my guide easily, ridding yourself of those HORRIFIC advertisements!
