Uhm... What do you mean, when you bring up bootmii? The point of the bootmii app, is brick protection, right? Therefore, bootmii is installed in your wiis "onBoot" function, and (should) load as the first thing on your wii. Since you can't access anything with a bricked wii, this is pretty logical reasoning. However, if you are talking about GETTING the app using SmashStack/Whatever that new one is... text bomb? Then you shouldn't be brought to wad manager, and something should be looked into.

I think he's wanting to go into BootMii to make a NAND backup (even though it wouldn't really help him, I have a feeling his BootMii is a IOS and not on boot2), but instead of loading the BootMii application it's loading his WAD manager.

If your Wii bricks and boots to a black screen, then yes, because BootMii isn't on boot2 so it doesn't get booted before the corrupt system menu.

But, that's only if your BootMii isn't on boot2. I said I have a feeling it's a IOS and not boot2, my feeling may be right or wrong.

I had this problem with MMM along time ago ...I just had to delete all the bootmii files (backup nand) on the sd card..worked for me. (maybe wont work for you?) But I've never needed it ...priiloader saved my ass before but never had any use for nand back ups...I've had corrupt system menus and other shit go wrong but I still made one ;) just in case.
