Thread: The Astral

Its probaly one of the places we feel safest. but also one of the places we fear the most.
The astral is where your spirit goes while you sleep you are always attached to your body during this time so you will alwats return when you awaken. Your mind is in complete controll of it if you are aware your in the astral you can controll your dreams (lucid dreaming) to be what you want them to be.
Throught astral projection after leaving phase 1(which is just leaving your body and being int he world around you) you can reach phase two which is being in the astral. its the same experience as lucid dreaming however you got there yourself instead of becoming aware of your prescence in it.
Once you die you go to the astral but the diffrence is your soul will not still be attached to your body. The more truamatic your death such as suicide or being murdered whille cause you to see very negative images intil you learn how to controll it. Likewise a more pleasent death will allow you to go into happy thoughts straigth away. In both cases it would be wise to learn how to controll your experience in the astral while you still have a body to return to.

This is really cool. When I was younger I used to not be able to control my dreams, resulting in bad and scary dreams. Now-days I can control my dreams, having cool and interesting dreams.
When you die and your in the Astral how long do you think it will take to be able to control your dreams and thoughts, if it were a painful death or if it were a normal death.

A lot of people are terrified of dying and going to hell. Who was it that implemented the word hell as bad? Thats right "they" did, by giving people negative thoughts about death. How do you think that translates when they arrive in the astral?

I read about some lady who, on her first trip to the astral, had some demons try to pull her out of her body repeatedly and they tormented her for the next couple of weeks.

its a cool theory, and lucid dreaming is really fun once you figure it out.
