    :3 Ipod Help.

Well I have had an Ipod for a while, and a few days ago out of no where, it just stops working. When I turn it on, the little apple screen shows up but then it shuts down again, I have charged it but it still wont turn on. It only shows the apple screen and thats it, then it just turns off. Can anyone help me out?

Try it on iTunes, restoring it. But if that does not work call an assistant, there is a way to get it to work!

    Is it jailbroken?

But yeah, a restore via iTunes seems to be your best bet.

Did you try turning it on and off

4 posts of the same thing and yet none tell the OP how to get to recovery mode to restore their iDevice in the first place.

Anyway OP, you will need to get to Recovery Mode first before you can restore.
    1. Plug your USB cable into your computer.

    2. Turn your iPod off by holding the power button for 10 seconds.

    3. Now press and hold the Home button while reconnecting the USB cable to your iPhone. After the iPod is connected it should power on the device.

    4. Continue holding the Home button, you will see the Apple logo appear and then finally a "Connect to iTunes" will be displayed, now is the time to release the Home button.

Hope it helps. ny further help feel free to ask.

    Default Ipod Help.

It was a question, I wasn't telling him to do anything. I'm not going to waste my time giving out directions if I don't know what he has or hasn't tried.

If he displayed that he could not restore via iTunes, obviously the first thing we would say is to enter DFU. Seriously, dude? There's no need to so snippy, it's a help forum, not a conquest.
