Need helping changing 'max_packet_allowed' variable in cpanel
Some of you may know that I coded a plugin called 'McFFA' for minecraft.
Lately I've been trying to get a MySQL database going with our website 'MinecraftFFA.com'. I've been attempting to save stats from the server into our database in order to create a leaderboard of sorts.
When I start up my server, I get a console message informing me that the query I used( Opening the connection ) was too large and that I should try increasing the variable 'max_packet_allowed'.
I did some research and apparantly that variable is controlled by your host and that either your cpanel will have an SQL settings page( Cant find with RVskin if their even is one )or to directly edit it by going into the FTP and editing the file 'my.cnf' which also is nowhere to be found.
If any of you could help me with this, it would be much appreciated.
