    Question iTunes Help

    I just got my computer back and I did the Apple Software Update and now iTunes won't work. I tried restoring a previous version but it still won't work. I'm uninstalling it right now, then redownloading it. Any help will be appreciated.

    What version did you update to?
    Try running in compatibility mode.

    EDIT: How do I know what compatibility mode to put it in. I think I have Windows 7 but not 100% sure

    Uninstall, restart, install newest version, see if it works.

    Hm. Restart your PC. after the PC restarts, bring up your Task manager, and go to the "Processes" tab. Click "Image name" to sort the processes alphabetically.

    Now try to launch iTunes.

    Does an itunes.exe process appear? If so, does it vanish after a second or so, or does it persist in the Processes tab (even though iTunes itself never shows up)?
