    Default Codetype help

Well, I have an idea for a code, but I don't know how it would be done. Basically, I want to take the data from one address, and slap it into another, or just have one address read from a completely different one. I'm not talking about 06 string write either.

For example, Say I wanted my name to always display my current ammo. I have the address for my current ammo, say, XXXXXX, and I have my name, YYYYYY. How would I go about making my name always display the ammo?

I've seen it done in codes like the text message > name in Blops

    So, would I look into F6? or 5A, or 90, 4A, 58, 9A...
I'm just looking for a little guidance is all.
    Thanks.

You would need to learn how to use gecko registers. See Clay10's tut on that. Then you need to learn all of these codetypes. I'll try to break this code down for you a bit.

    F6000001 8000817F I don't care
    00000000 814E2250 Gay search shit
5A010000 00000024 Adds 24 to the pointer address gathered from the value search above
90010001 00000000 Stores the pointer address in gecko register 1
    F6000001 8000817F I don't care
    00000000 814B0760 Gay search shit
    5A010000 00000024 Adds 24 to the pointer
90010002 00000000 Stores the pointer address in gecko register 2
58010000 00000000 Loads the value at the pointer address into the pointer address
4A001002 00000000 Sets the pointer address to the value stored in gecko register 2
9A00041F 00000000 Copies 4 bytes of data from gecko register 1 to the pointer address

This probably isn't much help because you need to know what each pointer address contains and I don't feel like searching them up right now, but whatever.

I dunno why terror made it seem so difficult.
