Your Whole Life Flashing Before Your Eyes...
Something has been on my mind a bit since Friday.
In my Global class we started some off topic conversation with some substitute teacher about Buddhism and other religions. We started talking about where we think will happen when we die, and what happens as you die. Some girl in my class said a theory she was told.
Basically, have you heard of that thing where "Before you die, your whole life replays again" ?
She said she believes that what we are "living" in, is our life replaying again, but in "reality" we have just been killed, or are short moments from death.
I'm not really asking for anything, but that really sparked my interest, and I wanted to know what you guys think about it.
That right now, we are reliving our lives, even though in real time, we are dieing.
Sorry if what I said isn't that clear.

Na dude. I basically heard this a lot. Basically when you die, you brain is the last thing to go. So your brain is reacting and there's these pulses that relive everything before you die. Your brain is dieing, showing you all of your life experiences, it's like when you delete your Recycle Bin, everything deletes and you can see it all at once, then gone, but you still remember what as being deleted, the bin representing the _____ dieing. Your brain shut off showing your memories until it hits the center. Every time somebody dies, this can be proven by scanning machines.

Time paradoxes prevent this theory.

If you were to assemble a gun, then go back in time, 3 minutes before you assembled the gun, and shot your other self in the head, killing yourself... Then who shot the gun?
You wouldn't have been able to assemble the gun if you were dead. /thread
THAT is a time paradox.
Remembering/experiencing your life again is different.

Already knew about this last year. Nothing new here.
