Have two computers but hate switching between mice/keyboards to use each one? Check out this program, Synergy. It allows you to use the same mouse and keyboard for as many monitors as you want. It works as if the monitors were linked to one computer, allowing you to drag your mouse to the edge of one monitor and have it appear on the other. I use it with my iMac and my Windows PC so I can use my good mouse and keyboard for developing. I seldom use the Apple keyboard and mouse I have hooked to my iMac; the only reason I have them hooked up is so I can disable Synergy when I'm gaming.
You can get Synergy here: http://synergy-foss.org/
It runs on Windows, OS X, and Linux, so no matter what OS you're rocking you can use Syngergy. Have a laptop but don't want to switch to it's tiny keyboard just to type a little? Use Synergy to seamlessly use your laptop from the comfort of your desktop keyboard.

It's so useful, especially when coding. Helps a ton being able to switch between monitors quickly.
Also retains what you copy into your clipboard between monitors.
