    Nintendo has released a firmware update for the Wii U. Nintendo has stated that it will

    I have not tested it out yet, I will probably download it tonight and check out what differences it makes tomorrow sometime.

    Why does Nintendo wait until after the console is out to take up all of the hard drive space and brick consoles? Why can't they just have the software already in??? Too many updates that could have already been built in.

    I read that the consoles coming in the spring will have all the previous updates pre-installed on them. This updates is not that bad, its only taking me 20-25 minutes to download.
