Default Call Of Duty Is ‘A Good Game, But I Wouldn’t Advise It For Younger Kids’, Says 8-Year

Towheaded and small-voiced, Felix von Perfall’s countenance seems to define childhood innocence. But look into those eyes. Those eight-year-old eyes have seen war, they’ve seen… things, things no seven, six or five-year-old should ever know.

“Call of Duty, it’s a good game, but it’s really — I wouldn’t advise it for younger kids,” Felix told WNYW-TV in its examination of Christmas gift-giving trends on yesterday’s news.

The last Call of Duty rated lower than M was Call of Duty 3 in 2007. The title has never rated an E.

It's how this generation's kids are being raised. Parents don't car what game they get them, as long as it babysits their child for hours on end. Hell, if I ever had a kid talk like that when I'm around, and it's my own, he's getting his little ass beat. Another thing about that is discipline is now considered child abuse. Fuck our generation, I guess I'm still old school when it comes to that, my kid won't be owning their own phone until they're at least 14-15, and have some form of upkeep of payments.

Don't worry iced, my parents are old school, and I am too. I didn't get my first rated T game till I was 14. And I hate when people talk about the newest game that came out at school. "Omg I bought this and this and this". (With their parents money of course cause they are spoiled like hell). I didn't want anything for Christmas this year (because if I want something I usually buy it myself, it's more of a pride thing. "Bought this with my own money, fuck yeah") but my parents refused to let that slide again. And the first thing I'm going to hear when I go to school after winter break will be, "I got a new iPod, 20 games, a tv, and all this cool other shit". And it just annoys me how greedy and spoiled our generation has become. People make life all about objects anymore, and I absolutely despise it.

I still don't have a phone, and I got my first M rated game at 12 because my dad finally convinced my mom.

Word, I don't have one. I am 16 and I can't have a phone because I gotta get a job first and pay for it. Same applies to a car, no car until I get a job, gotta pay for the car, insurance, everything.

Parents prefer board games but dont want to pay any attention to their kids or play with them so they feed them shit that does the interaction for them.
