Who is the G-man?
In the half life series, the G-Man is a very important man in the game. He plays a very.... original role. For you to sum it up a little. He has been seen in many, and i mean many places in the game. So in Half Life 1 the g-man is first seen talking to the people in side of Black Mesa. After the entire incident, he greats you and offers you a job. Although he gives you a choice, Canon(The Half-Life series canon has never been officially defined by Valve, and probably never will. Series' writer Marc Laidlaw stated that they do not "get involved in issues of canonicity", that "canon itself is non-canon", and that there is "no official stance", "just the games" as they are. "Canon itself is non-canon" emphasizes the fact that a few to no plot points are set in stone and that they can change anything during the development of further games, the aim being to have a good game before having a good story.Source) states that you accept the job. after Half Life 1 other games like HL: Blue Shift, HL: Opposing Force and HL: Decay, he is still seen many times. In Opposing Force he congratulates your character and sadly did no offer a job. But in Half Life 2, he is seen more importantly:
"Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman. Rise and shine. Not that I wish to imply you have been sleeping on the job. No one is more deserving of a rest. And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until... well, let's just say your hour has come again. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the ashes."
He is seen time to time in Episode 1 and 2 but is not as important until 2.
Makes you think
You got it yet?
i actually think that the gman is Gordon from the future if you take 2 pictures of them and put it over the other with there faces they look very very simpler. In Opposing fource the gman says to you " You remind me of me, and what i have survived."
look at this video i found. It might look stupid but it actually looks... factual.
Yes it is very stupid but if your a real HL fan it makes you think.
thanks my source is not listed because i came up with all this info(except for were i did list the source).
Or mabye your juts a pawn from the gman for what the boss in HL 1 said in the end
go to the almost end of this video and see what the boss says in the end you wont believe it
