Default IPA Site, App Alternative Install ipa-Alternative Thread.

Note: APPSync must still be Installed. It does not mater where you got it from. just as long as it works. Any 3rd party Repo should have it w/out any Dependacies.

    1. i-Funbox
Weve covered i-Funbox already and in our opinion, its one of the finest Installous alternatives you can get your hands on. One of the best things about i-Funbox is that even though it comes as a desktop app, its easy and fun to use. There is not much of a learning curve in installing IPA files that you can either search directly on the software or the ones you download from elsewhere.

    2. vShare

vShare was formerly App VV and it uses pretty much the same resource as Installous. In a sense, its the same thing as Installous with only some interface changes that a few users would prefer over Installous. vShare requires that you download AppSync on Cydia this means youll need to install hackulo.us repo. One great thing about vShare is that the community and the developers are as professional as Installous.

    To Install:

    Add http://repocydia.com to the repo
search for App VV or vShare
    download and reboot the device
vShare will be on the springboard

    4. IPA Search

When you visit IPA Search from your iPhone, you can search for valid IPA files from the app.su server. This Installous alternative isnt all that popular but its quite versatile and good in bringing up relevant and working results. If youre looking to download IPA files directly to your iPhone or other iDevices, IPA Search will get that done for you.

Now, even when you download IPA files directly, you wont probably get to install them till you use something like i-Funbox.

    5. AppCake

AppCake is something we posted on recently. Its one of the finest Installous alternatives that has gained popularity. AppCake comes from the iphonecake repo which is quite popular too. What makes AppCake a very good Installous alternative is the fact that the usage is pretty much similar to Installous so users of Installous would certainly find AppCake familiar.

    6. KulApps
Download the coolest ipa games and apps to try out before you buy them from appstore. We have the most updated cool apps ipa, and the best roundup and reviews from the iphone ipad ipod touch apps websites.

    7. PandaApp
PandaApp provides free mobile applications, games, themes for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone and Symbian.

    8. IPa Search
The fastest no frail IPA search engine for Jailbroken iPhone / iPad Apps

    9. iPhoneCake

Mother of AppCake, & The fastest no frail IPA search engine for Jailbroken iPhone / iPad Apps

    10. Pikipa
Directory of the most updated apps for iphone, ipad, ipod touch, download to try before you buy them

    11. iTools
iTools is a freeware used for installing apps, books, musics, videoes without the need of itunes. It is 100% freeware, no adds, no plugins, no installers.

    12. IPAStore

IPA files directly on the iPhone (via iTunes), IPAStore is all you need.

With IPAStore, you just search, download and open the IPA file in iTunes: and then sync your way. Although it is supposed to be quite easy, at times the thing takes a bit of an effort to work.

    Bonus: IPA Installer Console

This doesnt usually happen but grab it while it lasts. There is a Cydia tweak called IPA Installer Console in the BigBoss repo (default) which lets you install IPA files and edits the iTunesMetadata.plist file to bypass update checks. The default repos usually do not allow such tweaks to be hosted, and it sure looks strange but IPA Installer Console works just fine. With it, you can install IPA files that youve downloaded from various sources. The IPA Installer Console will also let you play/run apps on a device that is not supported officially by the app.

Im sure we missed some really good ones so tell us your favorite alternatives.

Note to Users: Add your input of sites to visit or programs to use to install appa etc I'll be glad to add it to the list as it grows.
