Angry I think i just died a little. GBC Dead Game...

I am getting back into "retro gaming" got my n64 with Pokemon Stadium and then I found my Pokemon Crystal, put it in and turned it on, and this happened:http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/7...emonscreen.jpg
[Sorry for the link I would have just put it as an image but it cut off half of the picture]

EDIT: This is the only game it does the "black bar" on. I tested it with two others they work perfectly fine. F.Y.I. the two others do not have a battery.

Please if anyone has any suggestions i'm open to them. This is the first game I bought myself and even if it is completely broken I am keeping it. I bought a Gamebit[I will get it in 4 days] to open up the cartridge to change the battery, I hope that works. Thank you.

Blow into the game cartridge, it might be dirty. Also blow into where the cartridge goes into. Take it out and put it back in and push it in hard. This is how I fix my gameboy games.

Thanks for the tip, I already knew about it. I tired several times already and I just tried it again. It did not work but thanks though.

Take a Qtip with some isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol on it, and swab the connection points on the cartridge and the gameboy. I had to actually take my cartridges out of the plastic casing to clean them. Stuff would build up on it.
